Earth Express: You, Me, and the Desert- Let’s Rock at Mission Manor Park

Parents/caregivers and children (ages 2-5 years old) will explore the world of the rocks around them. What can we do with them and how can we use them to capture children’s imaginations? They will be shown how rocks and stones can be used as tools of learning through the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher. Three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities will be offered. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
