Earth Express: Spices & Herbs

Parents/caregivers and children (ages 3-5 years) will learn about spices & herbs.  What grows around them and how can we grow these in our homes? Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will explore the wonderful world of flavoring our foods by participating in three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
