Earth Express: You, Me, and the Desert- Colors of Nature

Parents/caregivers and children (ages 2-5 years old) will explore the colors of the outdoor world around them. Children learn through play. The outdoors offers many opportunities to learn the names of colors in a sensory way through the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher. Three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities will be offered. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
