Earth Express: You, Me, and the Desert- Ready to Garden at Mission Manor Park

Parents/caregivers and children (ages 3-5 years) will learn the fun of gardening basics under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher. Most places have summer and fall planting. But our state has several growing seasons: winter (Nov-February), spring (Feb-April), dry summer (May-mid July), monsoon (July- September), and fall (Oct-Nov).
Three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities will be offered. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
