Kith & Kin

Do you care for the children of friends or family in your home? You will get to practice new skills in each session to bring home proven strategies and confidently incorporate them into your daily routine with the kids in your care.
¿Cuida a los hijos de amigos o familiares en su hogar? Podrá practicar nuevas habilidades en cada sesión para llevar a casa estrategias comprobadas e incorporarlas con confianza a su rutina diaria con los niños a su cargo.
Participants are asked to attend all 8 classes. Classes are from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Family Resource Center at the Sahuarita Food Bank.
The schedule is as follows.
Class #1- April 8, 2024: Orientation/Orientación
Class #2- April 12, 2024: Brain Development/Desarrollo del cerebro
Class #3 – April 29, 2024: Age & Stages/ Edades Y etapas
Class #4 – May 6, 2024: Daily Schedules and Arranging the Environment/Horarios diarios y organización del entorno
Class #5 – May 13, 2024: Positive Guidance and Discipline/Orientación positiva y disciplina
Class #6 – May 20, 2024: Language and Literacy/Lenguaje y lectoescritura
Class #7- June 3, 2024: Parents and Caregiver Relationships/Relaciones entre padres y cuidadores
Class #8- June 10, 2024: Nutrition/Nutrición
