To bee or not to bee…that is the question!
Parents/Caregivers with their children will learn what part bees play in keeping the Sonoran Desert healthy.
Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will engage in activities that introduce young children to how bees make their hives and how to make a ‘bee can’ to hang in a tree (away from home!) to attract bees. There will ‘bee’ three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities.
Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
