Parents/Caregivers with their children will explore the world of things that jump around in the desert: Grasshoppers and Crickets!
Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will engage in activities that introduce young children to what these insects are all about. Are they hopping because the sand is hot? This lively session will offer three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities.
Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
