Parents/caregivers and children (ages 3-5 years): Is the whole world Irish? Only on St. Patrick’s Day! Why is green the natural color of most of our environment? Parents/Caregivers will spend time on green-in-nature activities to celebrate the earth AND St. Patrick’s day. This will include planting shamrocks. Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will engage in activities that introduce young children ‘all things green’ by participating in three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
