Parents/Caregivers and their children will explore the lizards of the Sonoran Desert. Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will engage in activities that introduce young children to some of the smallest push-up champions. Within a 100-mile radius of Tucson, 44 kinds of lizards exist. Come join the fun in three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate activities about the world of lizards. Related story time is also included.
All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend their learning at home.
