Parents/caregivers and children (ages 3-5 years) will spend time exploring the water cycle. Families will engage in activities that explore where water comes from and where it goes. A beautiful part of water’s movement is the creation of rainbows.
Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will explore creative ways to simulate rain and make rainbows with children by participating in three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning
