Parents/caregivers and children (ages 3-5 years) will learn about the clouds and the wind that propels them. Families will engage in activities that include making wind socks and learning different ways to “see” wind in action. Under the guidance of a trained nature-based teacher, families will explore the wonders of desert winters by participating in three or four outdoor developmentally appropriate fun activities. Related story time is also included. All participants will be given a Family Activity Page in English and Spanish that will help them extend the learning and fun at home.
