Wonders of the Desert: Nature Play & Storytime- The Desert at Night
Wonders of the Desert invites children ages 2–5 and their caregivers to explore nature through playful, hands-on outdoor activities led by a trained educator. Each session includes engaging experiences like digging, building, and crafting, plus a themed Storytime. Families also receive a bilingual activity page to continue learning at home.
The Desert at Night: Children and caregivers explore how the Sonoran Desert changes after dark, learning about nocturnal animals and their behaviors. They discover how nighttime helps animals stay safe and find food, building curiosity and respect for desert life after sunset. This experience encourages observation skills and a deeper connection to the desert’s nighttime world.
