Wonders of the Desert: Nature Play & Storytime: Sun and Shadows

Wonders of the Desert invites children ages 2–5 their caregivers to explore nature through playful, hands-on outdoor activities led by a trained educator. Each session includes engaging experiences like digging, building, and crafting, plus a themed Storytime. Families also receive a bilingual activity page to continue learning at home.

Sun and Shadows: Children and caregivers learn how the sun creates shadows and how these change throughout the day in the desert. They explore light and shadow patterns, develop observation skills, and gain a hands-on understanding of the sun’s role in the environment. This experience encourages curiosity about nature and how the desert changes with sunlight.
