Nature Play & Story Time: What’s That Smell? The Wonderful World of Spices & Herbs

Children and caregivers explore the unique scents, flavors, and uses of desert spices and herbs. They learn how these plants grow, their importance to people and wildlife, and how they contribute to the desert ecosystem. This experience encourages curiosity, sensory awareness, and appreciation for the natural world.

Wonders of the Desert invites children ages 2–5 their caregivers to explore nature through playful, hands-on outdoor activities led by a trained educator. Each session includes engaging experiences like digging, building, and crafting, plus a themed Storytime. Families also receive a bilingual activity page to continue learning at home.
