Wonders of the Desert: Nature Play & Storytime: Butterflies and Caterpillars

Wonders of the Desert invites children ages 2–5 their caregivers to explore nature through playful, hands-on outdoor activities led by a trained educator. Each session includes engaging experiences like digging, building, and crafting, plus a themed Storytime. Families also receive a bilingual activity page to continue learning at home.

Butterflies and Caterpillars: Children and caregivers learn about the unique butterflies and caterpillars that live in the Sonoran Desert, discovering their life cycle and how they adapt to the desert environment. They explore the important role these insects play in pollination and the ecosystem. This experience fosters curiosity, observation skills, and a deeper appreciation for desert wildlife.
