Wonders of the Desert: Nature Play & Storytime: SAND
Wonders of the Desert invites children ages 2–5 their caregivers to explore nature through playful, hands-on outdoor activities led by a trained educator. Each session includes engaging experiences like digging, building, and crafting, plus a themed Storytime. Families also receive a bilingual activity page to continue learning at home.
Sand: Children and caregivers learn about sand as an important part of the desert and the planet. They discover how sand forms, where it comes from, and how it shapes the desert landscape. They also explore how sand is used by plants, animals, and people in the Sonoran Desert. This experience encourages curiosity, sensory exploration, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
